I like when my drawings take on the feel of something you could pick up and hold in your hands. Something about the light blue tones of 1110 seem so tactile to me. As though I could imagine it sitting on my lap with the whir of motors and hydraulics replacing the purrs of a cat.
Then it sprouts legs and the calm becomes a landscape.
Landscapes, robots, cellular life and architecture. They are all hanging around my sketchbook a lot lately. Its not so unusual. But I have been re-visiting books about Archigram this week, and its obvious in all the legs I have put on my landscapes.
